A shining light

The 10^th anniversary of September 11, 2011 marks a tribute to the over 3000 people who died as a direct result of the terror attacks on the United States. In New York the National 9/11 memorial is a symbol of global unity and solidarity. The light beam shot from the fountain memorial
symbolizes the connection we will forever have with those who are lost.

The Great Apple pays tribute to its fallen

The fountain itself with its flowing waterfall falling into a lower pond demands contemplation as we look out over a void which can never be filled completely while leaning on the border with its thousands of names inscribed into the stone. Let this remain a guiding light and inspiration for us to be the best that we can be and to try to make a difference in this global society of ours.
